What are PoP Circles?
An integral part of Weaving the Future of Animal Behavior (WFAB) is the formation of Power of Peer (PoP) Circles. PoP Circles are based on a model described in the book "Every Other Thursday" by Ellen Daniell. The key features are that members join and commit freely, confidentiality, and all have agreed to follow the structure. The structure involves peer coaching -- asking questions that encourage self-directed learning and developing actions to move towards goal. Peer coaching is not mentoring, giving advice or suggestions, or sharing stories. Instead, this is an opportunity to help your peers figure out ways to help themselves.
If you are a past WFAB participant looking to join a new PoP Circle, or wish to welcome new members into your circle to boost numbers and perspectives, email us with the links below and we'll try to help you find your flock.
