Weaving the Future of Animal Behavior (WAFB, pronounced WayFAB) offers an annual workshop series for advanced postdocs and early career faculty. You may find these workshops especially helpful if you are considering or launching into an academic career or another career where you will be in a position of leading research initiatives. |
NEWS for 2024
- We are excited to be offering our three-part workshop series again in 2024 as a pre-conference workshop option for the Animal Behavior Society annual meeting in London, Ontario. The workshop series will start with an online workshop (June 17 11:00 am – 1:00 pm EDT), followed by an in-person workshop the day before the ABS meeting starts (June 25 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EDT), and we follow this all up with another online meeting after the conference (July 12 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm EDT). This third meeting will focus on the formation of Power of Peers (PoP Circles). See more details below.
- We are planning a 2024 online WFAB reunion on August 16th, 2024! We welcome all current and former WFAB participants, organizers, and panelists. Jennifer Smith is the reunion organizer for 2024.
